Behind the Kiln

​ I started doing warm glass in 2012. You can see my love of nature and bright colors reflected in some of my work.

All Fired Up In Florida focuses on bringing functional art from my kilns into your home as reasonably priced as possible.   I try to make many standard household items that are still quite beautiful.  So many times, we heard people say they liked it so much they didn't want to use it.  But, we believe the price is just right, that you CAN use it.

In the visual art area of my art, I  have been working on the inclusion of driftwood and metal to create nature sculptures, as well as some abstract glass panels.  Venturing more into the non-functional art is a labor of love and a way  to showcase the versatility of glass as an art medium.

We also offer classes locally for introduction to warm glass or to make just one item in kiln-formed glass such as an anniversary plate or bowl.  Everyone has talent and just needs someone to provide them with the right tools and techniques to succeed.  We believe we can do that.  Limiting our classes to small size is one way we do that along with very tailored lesson plans.
